Everybody’s talking about Passione Gourmet Deli Cafe that’s located in Kingsley, a northern suburb not far from the turn off at Mitchell Freeway. Seriously, this place is gaining a cult following and for good reason. With their high quality in-house produce, impeccable oldschool style customer service and the finest delicacies imported from around the world – this cafe will make you feel like you have stepped into a piece of Italy while stuck in Perth.
I went there for the first time the other day and loved, loved, LOVED IT! The fun decor, gourmet food and sandwiches on display was so inviting and homely. Supporting unique and local Perth businesses is what my Perth Girl blog is all about, so naturally I wanted to tell you guys about this place. Check it all out below.

My Perth Winter Style: American Apparel checkered dress, Kookai camel coat, black thigh high socks and black ankle boats! Now lets go get some coffee!!!!
As soon as you walk into Passione, you get the feeling you could be in Italy. From the black and white ceramic tile floors and quirky layout, to the hanging prosciutto and salami and other homemade foods on offer; this little cafe deli is full of charm and infectious personality!

Funky Italy-inspired decor style will lighten up your morning.
They have a deli display, gluten-free and nitrate-free salamis on offer, in-house baked hams, imported Italian and Spanish prosciutto, specialty cheeses including some amazing truffle cheeses, marinated antipasto, homemade dips and chutneys.

Delicious marinated antipasto made on the premises.
Passione does breakfast (shout out to their ham and cheese toasties), lunch and dinner. They are also apparently one of Perth’s biggest selections of cheeses, meats and antipasto, providing specialty groceries to help with your cooking.

If you love your cheese, then you have come to the right place here. Mouth watering, yet?
Passione started with a small team in 2010 with a vision of providing Kingsley and the surrounding area with quality food, gourmet ingredients and fresh espresso style coffee. It is owned by David, a food-loving Sicilian, and Scottish-born Sandy; both coming together to serve fresh, quality homemade food and coffee.

Purchase your drinks and food at their quirky red bumper car stop (matches the red stools!)
The customer service here is awesome and oldschool. They strive to know customers by name and what their customers like.

I love the way they present their food here – and the fun signage too!
Wonderful smells, delightful treats – there is such a great selection of cold meats available here.

Told you there was quite a lot to choose from…

Passione offers a range of locally produced mustards, chutneys, salsas and pestos.
Everything is presented so nicely here. The continental rolls are a popular choice here, as are their muffins and flavoursome salads.

Cooking up the BBQ? Don’t forget a side of salad! Their salads here are oh so flavoursome, your guests will be impressed!

Get some meat into ya!

Assorted crackers for your dips and chutneys.

You can text your coffee order in advance! Smart!
Let’s talk coffee. Roasted fresh daily in Perth, Passione’s signature Gran Caffé blend has dominant flavours, consisting of chocolate and cocoa. It’s always served as a double shot – round and decadent, with a soft velvet feel accompanied by Bannister Downs milk.

The coffee here is high quality – you won’t be disappointed. Many of my friends drop into this place in the morning before they go to work. It’s a popular coffee hotspot!
Passione is a busy little spot every morning, as many come here to get their coffee fix before heading off to work. I rate their coffee highly – you won’t be disappointed. It’s smooth and just right.

Outside of Passione.

Out the front of Passione – it’s right next to the British Indian.

Plenty of free parking is available here, but some times it might get a bit busy.
So next time you’re passing by the Kingsley suburb, drop into this charming deli cafe and help support local business in the suburbs of Perth. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
